This community is an invite-only companion to the invite-only Between a Rock and a Hard Place chatrooms on Skype, Discord and IRC. We are also on facebook as a secret group. If you would like an invite, PM any of the admins (dreamwriteremmy, kevinsonnen or pyrokinetic_empath) to be considered. If a current member can vouch for you, that is ideal.

Rules

1. Don't be an asshat on purpose.
2. Please trigger warn for the big important things: abuse, rape, sexual assault, child abuse, self-injury, eating disorders, gore, explicit violence, and suicide. Any additional trigger warning requests are at request -- please let me know. If you don't want to bring it up with me personally or directly in the chatroom, we have an ongoing trigger list here. Comments on that post are screened.
3. If something makes you uncomfortable in chat, you are allowed to say "This makes me uncomfortable. Can we table this to another time and move onto a more hopeful subject area."
4. Venting and supporting each other is ENCOURAGED BUT I ALSO want to ENCOURAGE Forward-thinking attitudes and language. This group is a peer recovery support group.
5. What is said in the group stays in the group, unless you mutually decide to take something to PM.
